POLICIES AND FAQ

All the pieces in my shop are designed and hand fabricated solely by me in my Seattle studio.
I work in 22k gold, 18k gold, fine and sterling silver, gemstones and more recently with antique and vintage repurposed materials. Kosmimata's knotted necklaces are hand-strung by me using the best quality silk. All 18k gold clasps and ear wires are hand fabricated; in the newest collection Row of Lights, 14/20k goldfilled findings have been used.

As all of my pieces are one of a kind, I do not accept returns, exchanges or issue refunds. 

All sales are final.

Kosmimata pieces are one of a kind and no two items even of the same design are ever identical. They are all hand finished and when the silver pieces are covered by a dark patina, small imperfections on surfaces, marks of tools, oxidation and gradations in the color are present; they are not indications of flaws.

CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders take anywhere between 4-8 weeks minimum from beginning to completion. There is a $280 non-refundable design fee when the custom order process begins. Please contact me for more details.

PHOTOS

All the pieces are accompanied by detailed, high quality photographs, taken in natural light, that show the pieces in great detail. The descriptions of the pieces state in detail materials, measurements, weight and fabricating techniques so that an informed choice can be made.

COLOR DISPARITY BETWEEN PHOTOS AND ACTUAL PIECES
Colors on different computer monitors vary greatly. Lighting also contributes significant differences in color, especially when taking photos of pieces with gemstones or enamel. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns or questions.

SHIPPING
Once an order is placed,  unless the piece is in stock, I will notify you about the time needed for the fabrication of the piece. Upon completion, the piece will be shipped Priority Mail via USPS.

I am not responsible for items either lost in the mail or damaged in transit. Shipping in the US is free. Domestic shipments are sent Priority Mail, insured and with delivery confirmation.

International orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail, insured and with delivery confirmation.
PLEASE note that international purchasers are responsible for ANY and ALL DUTIES and CUSTOMS CHARGES.
